Lens: All glass Sunnex multi-element, aperture F3.5, focal length 44mm, tightly focused (44 mm vs. 32 mm for most consumer cameras). This results in more \"natural\" looking images with enhanced depth perception. . Image format is EDIF 2.2 .jpg. Video is 160x120 pixels at 5 frames per second (FPS). Quicktime .MOV file format.
Picture Storage: Internal memory can store 24 images. Optional expanded storage using standard CompactFlash cards with a capacity of 16MB to 512MB. A 16MB card holds 40 images, 32MB card holds 80 images, a 64MB card holds 200 images, a 128MB card holds 400 images, a 256MB card holds 800 images and a 512MB card holds 1600 images.

Power Source: 4 D-cell batteries (not included).
Battery Life: 3 months approximately.
Low Battery Indicator: Battery level readout with low battery warning and auto shut down. Display as a value of 1 to 4 (best).
Detection Method: Passive infrared motion detector which is designed to detect heat in motion within a conical area. The cone-shaped detection zone extends to 100 feet (maximum detection distances vary with ambient air temperature and animal size).
General Detection Range: 100 feet. 2 sensitivity settings.
Camera Delay Options: 1 minute up to 1 hour in minute increments. One to nine shots during each activation.
Operation Modes: The camera window selects time of operation - day only, night only, all day or selected hours of day. Time lapse mode lets you capture images at predetermined intervals of 1 to 96 hours.
On/off Switch: A graphic LCD and 5 positon keypad for navigation of software menu.
Programming Modes of Operation: 4 modes: Disarmed, Standby, Live & Test. If unit is left in test or standy it will automatically turn on to prevent you missing pics.
